We love this place and have been coming here for years. Truly a gem of Pelham! It's family owned and they really make you feel welcome. The food is great and the value always outweighs the cost. They do a fantastic job accommodating both kids and large groups. The sushi always taste fresh and beautifully presented. You can tell they care about what they serve. I would recommend this place to anyone.

On Saturday, May 2, we arrived at about 11:45 am. Place was extremely clean. Two tables were there eating. A gentleman came and took our drink orders. He was extremely nice. Waitress came to take our orders. Me, House Lo Mein, my wife, stir-fried chicken and veggies with steamed rice, cup of soup and our granddaughter, honey chicken with fried rice. The waitress who was very nice brought us the fried "things" you put in soup and a sweet dipping sauce which was an interesting take on chips and dip. The cup of soup was the star of the entire meal. Rich broth with veggies that packed a little kick. The stir-fried chicken with veggies was in a tasty sauce but the chicken was so overcooked it was just passable. Granddaughter's honey chicken was like eating something with a candy crunch, almost. She was picking at it so I tasted a bite. Super, duper sweet. Yes, honey chicken but all you could taste was sweet and something (which was the chicken). My Lo Mein had beef and chicken strips with shrimp and green onions. Serving was large. However it tasted like soy sauce and Sesame oil which sort of overpowered every. It took about 15 minutes for us to get our order. A table of eight that c

I absolutely love this place. The sweet lady who works up front remembers me and my order every time, regardless of how long its been since ive come. She never fails to bring a smile to my face! The food is on a different level also. The lo mein has fresh veggies in it, the sushi is on point, the fried rice is delicious... you really cant go wrong with anything you order here. Highly recommended!

We ordered to go & they were very nice when they took our order over the phone. Food was ready on time and hot! I got the beef in garlic sauce, I’d say it was 60% veggies, 40% beef. The sauce was very good! However, I don’t think the beef stood a chance on its own. It didn’t taste like it had much seasoning without the sauce on it. It was tender, but I had a lot of pieces with the tendon in it? When covered in sauce, it was difficult to see I was about to bite into that. The orange chicken was very tasty! Sticky, flavorful & a generous amount. Fried rice (& I’m a fried rice fanatic from Hawaii) was a 3/5. Mainly rice, a small piece of egg here or there but nothing else. Crab wontons had the perfect amount of filling & perfectly crispy!

I cannot express the gratitude that my heart feels for Golden City! It was our first time coming in, even though we have passed by it for years while coming into town to see family. The restaurant was so busy with take out orders and people dining in, the phone was ringing off of the hook and people kept coming in — and the precious, beautiful staff could not have been any kinder!!!! Or serve with larger hearts. And it was so DELICIOUS!!!! They served us with such kindness, care and intentionality as we brought our 6 month old in as well. They treated us and I can assure you every other customer like royalty! It was such a privilege to dine there… And all while getting to experience it on Christmas Day, what a gift! We cannot wait to come back, thank you Golden City 🫶🏼 You guys are special.
